Red Sky Ride

without comments

In March last year, we volunteered to help a group of cyclists raising money for SolarisCare.  SolarisCare is a donation based organisation that ”broadens the access to support services that achieve a reduction in pain, and a big improvement in sense of wellbeing, whilst undergoing treatment for cancer, be it chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery.  The Red Sky RIde promotes awareness of a service that provides support and therapies to the carers of people with cancer, the very people that shoulder the huge range of concerns whilst trying to provide a positive and supportive environment for those they care so much about.”

It all happens again in March 2009. The team is on the training programme again. This gallery shows the highlights of the 2008 Red Sky Ride.  For information about the ride or to donate money please go to www.redskyride.com.au
