Until recently we have published over 60 books through other publishers (Macmillan Education Australia and HEMA Maps). This has resulted in us selling over 30,000 books in the last ten years.

Guide Books

We work with HEMA maps, one of Australia’s leading map and guide publishers, to produce Western Australian based guides. Our first project together was Western Australia 4WD Top 50 Atlas and Guide.

In order to produce this publication, we travelled the state, mapping 4WD tracks using GPS and OziExplorer software. We documented the tracks pictorially and descriptively.

Our guide won an Award of Excellence for a book based product run by the International Map Trade Association. Stay tuned for more products in this line of publication. In 2008, the second edition of this book was released.

In 2009, the Western Australia, Caravan and Camper Trailer 50 Best Road Trips has been released. A review of the book is available at ExplorOz website. The book is available from our shop window, Map shops, some bookstores and many roadhouses.

Children's Educational Books

Pelusey work closely with one of the world’s leading publishers to produce our catalogue of over 60 children’s educational books.

Using the Australian primary school curriculum as a guide, our brainstorming sessions come up with ideas to tempt our publisher. From a successful idea follows research of the topic by interviewing experts in relevant fields and networking with organisations. These organisations range from mining companies to religious organisations and individual farming businesses.

Our book titles have been runner up at the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing on two occasions. Many of our books are sold internationally. Have a look in any public or school library and you will find many titles by Michael and Jane Pelusey.
